Knitting in the Round will be in Sanquhar, Dumfriesshire on Saturday 1 November 2014 at the A’ the Airts Arts Centre, 11 am – 3pm. We are holding an informal public event to explore Sanquhar knitting – its history, its current popularity, the skills required, the wool needed and the patterns recorded.
There will be short talks, an opportunity to visit the Museum and a chance to try Sanquhar knitting for yourself.
