It’s the first day of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and a wonderful community of knitters radiating out from the University have crafted beautiful flags of the participating Commonwealth nations. We are just in the process of putting these together into a giant bunting, which will be displayed a few places around the University and Festival 2014 sites. Stay tuned for more on the flags but for today, a picture of the work in progress: completed flags sorted into rough colour groupings….
