Day 1 was a great success. Lots of people visited Susan to pick up knit kits, talk about knitting and generally be inspired by her lovely designs.

Day 2 she will be working with the the Material Culture class in Archaeology who are learning to knit as part of their study.

It’s not too late to join in. Wednesday she will be working with the University Knitting Group and on Thursday she will be in the University Library cafe all day.

    • Thanks for your comment. The blue and white knit in the first picture are actually a collection of design samples developed from the patterns in the stonework, ironwork and woodwork seen in the architecture of the Gilbert Scott building on Gilmorehill campus. The size of the knitted samples are approx 12×10 inches. They have been knitted using Jamieson & Smith yarn from their Shetland Heritage range in 2ply jumper weight and the colours are Indigo and Flugga White.
